Forever Fit and Firm
If you are over age 40 you need to read this book. In it I give you the knowledge I have learned over the last 30 years in my efforts to stay healthy and fit. This knowledge is based on the things that has worked for me and my clients.

Forever Fit And Firm is one of those books that you realize immediately was created by someone who actually DOES the stuff they talk about. In the book, Darvis provides an excellent guide to personal fitness. He includes lots of photos and descriptions, so you can make sure you are actually doing the exercises the right way. Basically, think of this book as a very inexpensive personal trainer. The book starts for beginners and works up to intermediate level fitness routines. He also touches on diet and nutrition and talks about how and why fad diets do not work. He says what all of us know but nobody talks about…to lose weight you simply have to burn more calories than you take in. The big tip that I didn’t know is that muscle burns calories more than fat. Thus, the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn even when you are doing nothing. Think about that for a minute and let it sink in, because it’s pretty cool stuff.
While I haven’t read too many fitness books, Forever Fit And Firm is the best I have read or even seen. Darvis makes it easy to grab this book and go to the gym and start making a difference in your life. If you want to get fit or know someone who does, Forever Fit And Firm could be an excellent tool and motivator.
